Crematogaster cf. carinata
This species likely makes colonies with several thousands of workers. They originate from France Guiana, queens are 7-9mm and workers estimated to reach 3-4mm once mature. Both queens and workers have yellow/orange/light brown heads and gaster and black gaster.
General:
They are funny and very aggressive.Queens are very productive and are a beautiful addition to your collection.Food:
These ants have a very varied diet and will eat most foods eg crickets, mealworms, sugar water and honey If you feed insects from the wild freeze or boil these insects to sterilize them. Skipping this step can introduce mites to your colony.Humidity:

they prefer 25-28cHibernation:
they don’t require a diapauseSting/bite:
like all Crematogaster, they have a modified stinger used to spray venom. Not much is known on how to house them best. They will likely do well in acrylic,3D printed and tubes and tubes setups.
