Tracking Your Order with Esthetic Ants

We understand your excitement about receiving your package from Esthetic Ants, and we’re here to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible. While shipping can sometimes be a waiting game, we want to make sure you’re informed every step of the way.
 

Order Confirmation

Once you place an order on our website, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. If you don’t see it, please check your other email tabs or spam folder. Searching for "Esthetic Ants" in your email search bar may also help.

Rest assured, email confirmations are always sent out. If you haven’t received one, it means your order didn’t go through.
 

Shipping Notification

When we create your shipping label, you’ll receive another email notifying you that your package is on its way. Please note, the shipping label may be created a day before the package is actually posted. This email will include a tracking link—simply click the "Track Package" button to monitor your shipment. The courier may also send separate emails with delivery updates.
 

Responsibility and Pick-Up

You are responsible for tracking your package and ensuring its receipt. If you chose a pick-up point, you will need to collect the package yourself. If you fail to pick up or receive the package, it will be returned to Esthetic Ants. In such cases, we can resend the package for the shipping cost plus a €10 repacking fee. If there are any ant casualties or damages to the package we will charge you for that as well. 
 

Mondial Relay Specifics

For Mondial Relay shipments, we will automatically select the nearest pick-up point to your home. You cannot choose the location. If you prefer a different delivery method, we recommend selecting an alternative courier option.

When Will Your Package
Be Shipped?​

We strive to ship your order as quickly as possible. Our team processes and packages orders from Monday to Friday, and while we aim for speed, please allow approximately 5 days for your order to be prepared. The exact processing time may vary depending on the season and order volume.

Production and Stock

Many of our products are handcrafted, and we operate with a variable stock. This means that in some cases, we may need to produce your order from scratch, which can take up to 5 days or more.

Shipping Schedule

Domestic Orders (Netherlands):

  • Orders are shipped every Tuesday and Thursday. Occasionally, we may ship via PostNL on Mondays as well.
     

International Orders:

  • Mondial Relay: Shipped on Tuesday and Thursday.

  • DPD: Shipped on Tuesday and Thursday.

  • PostNL: Shipped on Monday and Thursday.

  • UPS: Shipped on Monday and Thursday.

  • DHL: Shipped on Monday and Thursday.
     

Important Notice

Once your order is shipped and tracking information is provided, we kindly ask that you refrain from contacting us regarding the status of your package. The tracking link will have the most up-to-date information on your delivery.

How Long Does Shipping Take?

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, shipping times have become less predictable. While some packages may arrive within a few days, others could take significantly longer. Unfortunately, Esthetic Ants has no control over shipping delays once your package is with the courier. Please also consider our processing time, which is separate from shipping time.
 

Tracking and Issues

For the most up-to-date information on your package, always check the tracking link provided. If you have concerns about delays or if the tracking information indicates that your package has arrived but you have not received it, please contact the shipping company directly. Esthetic Ants is not responsible for lost or delayed packages once they are marked as delivered. Any issues with delivery should be addressed with the courier, as they are responsible for the shipping service.
 

Estimated Delivery Times
  • Domestic Orders (Netherlands): Typically arrive within 24-48 hours after being posted.

  • West-EU Orders: Usually take up to 5 working days to arrive (PostNL).

  • East-EU Orders: Typically take up to 10 working days to arrive (PostNL).

  • International Orders: Generally take 2 to 4 weeks to arrive. Please consider this timeframe when placing your order, especially for live ants.
     

Note: Shipping estimates are provided as a guideline and may vary based on factors such as time of year and courier efficiency.

Ordering Ants from
Esthetic Ants

At Esthetic Ants, we take great care in packaging your ants to ensure their safe arrival. Each tube is securely fixed to the box and cushioned with protective padding to minimize the risk of damage. While instances of dead arrivals are rare, if it does occur, please refer to our Live Arrival Guarantee service to determine if you qualify for a refund or replacement colony. Please note that this policy is strictly adhered to and acceptance of this policy is required at checkout.
 

Shipping Conditions

To ensure the well-being of your ants, we do not ship orders when temperatures exceed 30°C or fall below 0°C. In such cases, your order will be delayed until conditions are suitable for shipping.
 

Ant Care and Survival

All our ants, including queens, are well-fed before being dispatched, so there is no need to worry about them starving during transit. Ants can survive for extended periods without food, and they always have access to a water source while in transit.
 

Policy on Refunds and Replacements

Please note that there are no guarantees on ants sent as part of a refund or replacement. Should such a situation arise, you will be informed accordingly.

Do We Ship Internationally?

Yes, we ship ants and products globally. However, please note that you are responsible for understanding and complying with your country's import regulations and requirements. Each country has its own rules, and Esthetic Ants is not able to track or manage these regulations.
 

Important Information for International Orders
  • Live Arrival and Missing Packages: Due to the complexities of international shipping, Esthetic Ants cannot guarantee live arrivals or compensate for missing packages. If possible, we recommend sourcing ants and products locally. You can check our Resellers Page to see if there are any local shops near you that carry Esthetic Ants products.

  • EU Countries: We ship to all countries in the world. However only countries that are a member of the EU have live arrival guarantee and parcel guarantee. If you are unsure whether your country is part of the EU, please consult a list of EU member states before placing your order to avoid any surprises.
