Small Ytong - Type A
With dimensions of 108 x 63 x 28 mm (l x w x h), this nest features 3 straight-shaped chambers, offering a snug and intimate environment for your ant colony. Crafted from Ytong block, renowned for its moisture retention properties, simply add water through 'the chimney' located conveniently on the side of the formicarium to maintain ideal humidity levels.
Rest assured, your ants are safe and secure within the nest, thanks to the escape-proof mesh seamlessly integrated into the frame. The clearview acrylic lid, secured with screws (removable if needed, though we advise against removing all screws), offers a clear view of your busy ant colony while ensuring their containment and safety.
For effortless access and connection, we've included both 10 mm and 15 mm access ports, facilitating seamless integration with various ant species and colony sizes.
