  • In the wild Camponotus pseudoirritans inhabits tropical forests, woodland edges, and humid environments across Southeast Asia. They commonly build nests in rotting wood, tree cavities, bamboo, or underground near roots and fallen branches.

    Workers are highly active and spend much of their time foraging for sweet liquids and insect prey. Colonies become especially active during warm and humid conditions. Like many tropical Camponotus species, they show strong worker polymorphism with larger majors helping defend the colony and process food.

    This species thrives in warm tropical environments with moderate to high humidity and good ventilation.
