Send Us Your Extra Queens: Earn Shop Credit Rewards

Nuptial flight season has a way of leaving you with more queens than you know what to do with. If your catch this year went better than expected, we want the extras. Send them to Esthetic Ants and we will turn them into shop credit you can spend on your next nest, feeder, or colony.
Our mission at Esthetic Ants is to give away as many free ants as possible. We do this with queens we catch ourselves and queens gifted to us by keepers like you. If your collecting season left you with a surplus, sending them our way means those queens go to new homes instead of sitting unused in your collection.
Why Send Us Your Queens
Every extra queen you send helps us keep giving colonies away for free to new and returning keepers. In return, you earn shop credit and know your catch is going somewhere it will actually be put to use.
How the Program Works
Package your queens carefully using a proper test tube setup so they arrive healthy and hydrated. Tell us exactly which species you are sending, since your reward depends on it. Once we confirm the queens are in good condition, we credit your account and cover the return shipping.
Reward Rates
Rates depend on species. Lasius niger earns €0.25 in shop credit per queen, Lasius flavus earns €1 per queen, and Tetramorium caespitum earns €0.50 per queen. Every other non-invasive species earns €2 in shop credit per queen.
Send us more queens of a rewarded species and your total credit adds up accordingly. There is no cap on how many species you can submit in one shipment, only a cap on volume per species, which you can find in the rules below.
Participation Rules
To take part, keep a few things in mind. Only send us queens from non-invasive species, and let us know exactly what you caught. Your queens need to be legally collected and in line with local regulations, and please treat them with care throughout the process. You pay for shipping the queens to us, we pay for shipping your reward back. Each shipment should include a minimum of 25 queens and a maximum of 50.

Do you still pay as if we send you queens and colonies or is it just the shop credit?
What about colonies?
I Can do that when nuptail flight starts here in New Zealand I just need my parents permisson and help getting a permit from MPI https://www.mpi.govt.nz/ .
